Background: Yesterday, nearly 200,000 people came decided to go to Washington D.C. to show their support for our friendship with Israel. This event comes in the aftermath of the brutal attack on Israel by Hamas last month. This wasn't a partisan event, Speaker Mike Johnson spoke along with Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries, the notable person missing was President Joe Biden...
Biden could've gleaned a real education if he bothered to show up. His handling of rescuing American citizens from Hamas has been nothing short of weak. The mother of Hersh Goldberg-Polin, a 23-year-old American in Hamas clutches, laid it all out, painting a vivid picture of the horror that comes with having your own flesh and blood abducted by these terrorists.

In my view, this is pure nonsense. The real reason he chose not to go is simple: his team understood the potential fallout. It's not that they didn't want him there; rather, they recognized that his presence on that stage could have triggered a global catastrophe, potentially sparking World War 3 and undermining our alliances within the first 10 minutes of his address.
A strong United States benefits the entire world, and achieving that strength is impossible when our President can't muster the effort to attend a rally denouncing violence and terrorism directed at innocent women and children.

Rep. Tim Burchett cast his vote to remove Speaker McCarthy last month, but it seems he got more than he bargained for, literally taking a punch from McCarthy in yesterday. I always thought Kevin wouldn't fight for what he believed in, I guess I was wrong.
Background: It seems that during an interview, Rep. Burchett found himself on the receiving end of an unexpected assault by McCarthy. Burchett shared in a subsequent interview, "I got elbowed in the back, and it caught me off-guard—a clean shot to the kidneys. I turned back, and there was Kevin... and I chased after him, of course."
If it was just Burchett's word against McCarthy's, this probably wouldn't be going anywhere. However, the reporter who was interviewing Burchett tweeted corraborating Burchett's story
