⏰ Biden Take's Aim at Your Gun Rights

February 1st, 2024

Happy Thursday, Patriots! Last Year, many on the left celebrated the wins of organized labor when UPS announced major raises for its workers, leading the average driver to make upwards of $170,000. However, as anyone who understands economics knows, when you raise waiges drastically like that someone will be left unemployed, that would be the 12,000 employees UPS is planning to let go this year.

Joe Biden Sets His Sights on Private Gun Sales

According to a whistleblower group, Joe Biden's administration has drafted a law. It would require background checks for all gun sales, even those between private citizens.

The 1,300-page document, which provides legal justification for a proposed rule that would require background checks for all gun sales, was drafted by the ATF according to Empower Oversight Whistleblowers & Research in a letter dated January 31.

According to two whistleblowers who spoke with the organization, the document was drafted at the White House's request.

In a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland on Wednesday, Empower Oversight said it had learned from two sources that the White House directed the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives to make the change. The White House also "has drafted a 1,300-page document in support of a rule that would effectively ban private sales of firearms from one citizen to another. This would be done by requiring background checks for every sale.""

Empower Oversight believes that only Congress has the power to make the change. This is because a 1986 law it passed explicitly banned background checks for private-party gun sales. That bill, by the way, passed the Senate 79-15. It's crazy to think that just 40 years ago, protecting this right was bipartisan.
