Happy Friday, Patriots! This is the last newsletter before Christmas so, Merry Christmas! I will probably slow down publishing over the next few weeks. Congress is in recess, so not much should happen. However, rest assured. I will still be scanning the news. If something happens, I will be ready to boot up the laptop and send out a newsletter!

Disney's Billion-Dollar Woke Gamble Fails

A few weeks ago, Disney CEO Bob Iger announced that he is pivoting the company away from promoting social justice agendas. He is pushing the company not to feature identity issues such as race, gender, and sexuality as plot centerpieces in its next slate of films. The Disney boss wants the studio to focus on creating entertaining films.

Disney released 4 movies this year. All of them combined failed to reach 1 billion at the box office. That's a number Disney used to hit with ease. They spent a whopping $200 million on their movie, Elemental. However, it only brought in a little under 30 million in its opening weekend. Who is to blame? According to movie experts, it is Disney themselves. The movie came under fire for including a nonbinary character. Disney planned to use this character to promote their "not so secret" gay agenda.

Personally, when I was a kid I loved watching the classic Disney movies like Toy Story and the Lion King. When Disney made movies like that, they raked in money hand over fist. However, last year Disney decided to make a spinoff of Toy Story called Lightyear. This would've been fine except they decided to feature a same-sex kiss. This wasn't by accident. The voice actor from the movie said she was glad to see how the movie "normalized" an LGBTQ character.

I, for one, am glad to see conservatives finally take a stand against wokeism's attack on our kids. When I was a kid, it seemed that everyone was watching Disney and Nickelodeon when they went home, however, I was curious so I asked my nephew to see what his friends watched, shockingly he asked around and said all the kids watch Youtube now adays. Wokeism and the shifting kids' attention have led to Disney losing 16% of its value this year. All experts think it will only get lower.
