This may be a bad time to say it, but you get what you vote for. Every year, countless non-profits and communities give out turkeys to those less fortunate. I remember volunteering to help pass them out when I was a kid. We had a few ground rules, one per vehicle and first come first serve.
In New York, however, it has been decided that mostly illegal immigrants should get their turkeys before low-income New Yorkers. One person
told a local fox affiliate, "Why do we have to take the butt of everything? This community is already suffering"
This frustration comes after New York Mayor Eric Adams
announced he had to cut over 2 billion dollars from the cities budget. After he announced these cuts, his popularity tanked with nearly 60% of New Yorkers giving him an unfavorable rating. To put this into comparison, Joe Biden has a higher approval rating in New York than Eric Adams.
I wonder if all thise will be enough for Eric to reverse New York's Sanctuary status, like he's
called for multiple times. If leftists like Adams and Biden would quit fighting for open borders, none of this would've happen.
