The Left is working overtime to work against President Trump, there are currently two ongoing civil trials that impact the 45th President. One is due to his businesses in New York. The other, which may prove more important, is about removing him from the ballot next November.
Banana Republic Trying to bankrupt and remove your political opponent from the ballot is a tactic of dictators, not the leader of the free world. Perhaps my standards are a bit too high, we are talking about the same President that tried to segregate Americans who didn't want to get a shot.
Fraud Trial A lawsuit brought by New York’s attorney general, Letitia James, accuses Trump and other defendants, including his companies and his sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, of fraudulently inflating the value of assets to obtain favorable loans and insurance deals.

Before the trial, the judge, Arthur F. Engoron, ruled that Mr. Trump and the other defendants were liable for fraud, and that the annual financial statements on which they listed their assets were filled with examples of such misconduct. As a consequence, Justice Engoron canceled the business licenses that have enabled Trump to operate his companies in New York
Trump off the Ballot?: Trump faces legal challenges to appear on the ballot in multiple states based on his alleged role in the events of January 6, 2021. The plaintiffs cite the Fourteenth Amendment, which bans those who “engaged in insurrection” from holding federal office.

Trump’s attorneys argue the amendment, ratified in the aftermath of the Civil War, was intended to apply to those waging war on the U.S. Trump never “engaged in insurrection,” and his questioning of the 2020 election results is political speech protected by the First Amendment, they argue.

“Trump’s comments did not come close to ‘incitement,’ let alone ‘engagement’ in an insurrection,” they wrote in a filing.

A federal court in New Hampshire dismissed a similar case recently, ruling that the Fourteenth Amendment claim is a “nonjusticiable political question.” Trump has not been convicted of insurrection and was acquitted by the U.S. Senate of charges of engaging in insurrection.
