⏰ They're trying to rewrite history!

January 8th, 2024

Happy Monday, Patriots! Joe Manchin's final year in the Senate will be this year, after he announced he would not seek re-election. After this year, Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman might be the most conservative member of the Democratic caucus. "There's a crisis at the border," he said over the weekend, "and I don't know how anyone could pretend that there isn't."

It's strange to think that a man who could barely speak 18 months ago is now the most coherent liberal in the Senate...

It Started with the Confederates, now it is the… Quakers?

When I was a kid, I remember the country debating wether or not to remove confederate monuments. I grew up in the deep south. Personally, I found it to be a bad idea. Not because I wanted to honor the confederacy but because of the lesson it taught. It is a static reminder of the depths our country fell into. It reminds us that we persevered and ultimately became the greatest and most powerful country on earth.

However, when the left made the argument to tear them down I could at least see where they were coming from. Around 2017, Donald Trump said that after the confederate monuments, they would try to remove founding fathers like Washington and Jefferson because they owned slaves. Everyone thought he was crazy. Until a few months ago when the left started a campaign to remove a statue of Jefferson at the very school he started.

Now, they’ve moved on from founding fathers. They have decided to remove a statue of William Penn, the founder of the State of Pennsylvania. Joe Biden's National Park Service will remove the statue of William Penn from the park. The statue was erected in 1982 to commemorate the 300th anniversary of Penn founding Pennsylvania. The park is on the site of his original home in Philadelphia.

Now, you may be asking, what are they replacing this statue with? The Biden Administration is using the government to allow Native Americans to erect a statue. The statue is meant to offer an "expanded interpretation" of Native American history.

It is important to remember that future generations learn small things about history through plaques and statues like this. Instead of learning about William Penn, kids will now be taught that the left believes America stole this land and it should be returned. This is how they do it folks, this is how they rewrite history.
