Over 2,500 Cops turn in their badge in New York

In a startling development, over 2,500 police officers have resigned from the New York Police Department in 2023. These cops aren't just retiring; nearly half of them left before completing the 20-year requirement for a pension. These cops are simply fed up with being led by woke left mayor Eric Adams.

The mayor and the rest of the leadership are spinning this to claim that the cops are burned out, but the truth is that they do not want to work for the mayor. Only a few weeks ago, nearly 400 academy graduates began booing Mayor Adams when he began to speak at their graduation.

One significant factor contributing to this wave of resignations is Mayor Eric Adams' decision to freeze NYPD hiring, a move aimed at addressing the city's growing migrant crisis.

As we discussed last week, New York is suffering as a result of its status as a sanctuary city. Eric Adams' poll numbers are plummeting because he would rather appease the left than provide for New Yorkers.

This will almost certainly result in Adams being a one-term mayor, as more and more Americans are tired of violence in their cities, with radical leftist rapper Cardi-B even criticizing Adams for slashing the police budget.
